    802.1x and WPA2?

Loving Windows 7 so far, but I can't connect my laptop to my work network. The network uses 802.1x, I believe with WPA2. Windows tells me it's a WPA2 network, however it won't connect to it. I ran the troubleshooter and it still won't connect.

Interestingly, if I create a wireless network with the correct SSID, and select 802.1x, it will only allow me to use WEP. There are no other selections.

    My iPhone connects just fine!

Any ideas? This is a HP Mini 1000, with a built-in Broadcom wireless adapter. Wireless works fine at home (WPA).

    Thanks,
    aaron

I think I am having the same problem connecting to my School's wireless connection and I believe it is because that i'm not able to enter what my domain is. Any ideas of what to do?

Wish I could help. I have not resolved my 802.1x problem, but I did file a bug with Microsoft and they've asked for some log files which I provided this morning.

For the domain issue, have you tried specifying it with your username? Something like this:

Username: Domain\Username (I can never remember if this is supposed to be back slash or forward slash)
    Password: Password
