    WIFI canot remember router password.

    HI.

I have a notebok with Windows 7 Home Premium.

It has an Edimax EW7108PCG wifi adapter on it.

It's driver is the Ralink RT61.

I have the problem, that the password for the router is not saved, and I
have to enter it at every start up.

What can be the reason ?

    Hi darkhorse,

What password are you referring to? When you have to logon to the URL then access your router's setting? Perhaps you are referring it to the network encryption key and be connected to your wireless network? Pls. verify.

Yes I'm referring to then network encryption key. The key here is the one on a label on my router, and it has to be entered in the set up for the wifi card on the notebook to be able to connect to the router. But as mentioned this password has to be entered every time, and that is boring

Please remove your wireless network stored in your computer and re-add it again, make sure to type the correct network encryption. Here's How.
