    Connecting to an XP Printer

The only printer in my network is on a computer running XP, and my 7 laptop needs to connect to it. How do I do this? I already used my XP computer to set up a workgroup, but I can't figure out how to connect to it on 7.

I'm not sure what your situation is but when I connected my XP printer to my new WIN7 64x computer, I was told to connect the printer with the computer off. Then start the computer and let WIN7 accept it as new hardware. Then I went to the printer website and found the latest WIN 7 driver and downloaded it. The printer was accepted fine by the new computer. All I had to do then was make the printer the default printer. :)
