    Homegroup mystery

    Newbie office people here.

We have two Windows 7 computers. We set up Homegroup and I can view the title of the other computer in my Homegroup list by going to Start, clicedk on my Personal Folder, Homegroup is on the left with the other computer showing underneath. Everything is empty. Documents, music, video, etc were all checked for viewing when we joined together.

Discovery and sharing are both turned on for both computers.

    Help!

Thank you very much for your reply.

However, we want the Homegroup to work! We can see each other's folders under the Homegroup. Yet the "Documents" folder is empty and inaccessible.

The reason I looked for an alternate method was HomeGroup would not work on my 2 Win7 H Prem pc's. and when I did as in my PDF, it worked instantly.
