Sharing worked but now it says access denied???

    Sharing worked but now it says access denied???


    Everything worked but now I can't get access from my other computers toe my exsternal hadrdrives or my C drive. All I can access is the public folder? What can I do to make this right again?

    Please help, and Thank you in advanced

    When I want to access the XP PC form my windows 7 pc it gives me this block......and when I put in the username and pass word om that XP PC it doesn't work....what can I do?

    Try putting in the "pcname\username" as the id.

    The pc your trying to connect to must have a password, unless you change your wireless adapter advanced settings.

    Yes I just made the password 12345....still it doesn't connect..."logon failure bad username or pass"

    Core7, open 'Task Manager' on the pc your trying to connect to and look in 'Users' tab, it will show your username.

    password

    is not the same as

    computername\username
    password

    That said you may have to add the username of your W7 credential to the permission/security section of your shared C:\

    Does it work the other from XP to W7?
