Sharing worked but now it says access denied???

It says User.....in the task manger...This is the XP pc I am trying to connect to, and the PC I am using is ANDRU in the Task manger.....

Try putting in the "pcname\username" as the id.

I did the id is "User"....

is not the same as

computername\username
password

That said you may have to add the username of your W7 credential to the permission/security section of your shared C:\

Does it work the other from XP to W7?
