Could you do command prompt: IPCONFIG/flushdns

try if you can browse now.

Another thing you could try is connect network cable to your laptop and see if that makes a difference?

I also notice your DNS server IP is very different from the gateway's IP.

    Is that on purpose?

Is the DNS also on autoconfigure?

    If not try that.

I'll keep an eye open for your post.

    Hi squonksc,

I'm writing this post from my laptop in safe-mode, all the details I attached are the same when I'm in safe-mode and in the regular mode, but for a strange resaon I still can't access the internet while I'm out of safe-mode.

I didn't enter the dns servers, so I don't know what to tell you about it, I suppose it came from my ISP.

    Yishke:)

Did you do the IPCONFIG/flushdns already?

Have you tried with a cable instead of wireless.

Problem solving is mostly ruling out options, and the rest is creativity.

you said you can connect to internet in safe mode with n/w. Right?
That means its your firewall that's causing the issue. uninstall the AV and/or firewall program and then browse the internet in normal mode. It will work. Then reinstall the AV/firewall.

    Hi,

I tried all that, the thing is:
I can connect the interent using the wireless connection when I turn on the os in safe-mode, as I understand this indicates that the problem is either in my fire-wall, or in my anti-virus, I tried removing both and it didn't helped.

    Do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Yishke:)

I'm starting to feel a bit ignored here.

    Again I'll ask:

    Sorry..

I actually replied you and not dinesh.
I tried what you (squonksc) suggested.
I also tried what dinesh offered (without the uninstall, I just turned everything off)

    Yishke:)
BTW, I use the regular windows firewall.

    So wired won't work either?

Try this IPCONFIG /release, wait until it's done.

    Then type IPCONFIG/renew

    If still not work.
PM me your MSN name, that communicates a lot easier.

And do what Dinesh offered you.

Shutting of the firewall and antivirus might not be enough.

If the software is causing conflict, you need to de-install it.

    Please do that.

Again, if you are able to browse websites in safe mode with n/w, its 101% your AV/firewall or browser conflicting. Besides, you can also disable all startup items in msconfig and restart your computer to see if any good happens.
