    BitTorrent

Does anyone know how to have BitTorrent STOP doing searches using Bing? Everytime I do a search for anything, Bing shows up w/its results, how do I change this?

BitTorrent refers to the technology, which BitTorrent client are you using, e.g. uTorrent, Vuze, BitComet etc

What browser are you using? Did you allow your Bittorrent client to install a toolbar? Utorrent in particular I know installs a Bing bar by default.

    http://www.bittorrent.com/downloads

bitorrent has a search box when you open it and the search results will open in your default browser but they are bing results. i just tried it.
simple answer to op. dont search from within Bittorrent, use google.

and presumably you are downloading legal torrents.

Thanks Boohbah, I'd rather be corrected once than be wrong forever!
I also usually search from my browser, not the client.
I recommend unchecking the boxes during setup to avoid a multitude of toolbars that you never use from clogging up your browser.

I'm using the client BitTorrent & made absolutely sure I did not have any boxes checked when I 1st installed, so no toolbars/any of that for me. Also, I am using IE8 & Google is set as my default search engine, there really should be a way for us users to decide which search engine to use while using BitTorrent. I'll just start searching torrents through Google. Thanks for the replies.
