    Windows 7 Sharing Security Tab

Ok i hope someone can educate me. I have a folder called completed movies, in that folder i have .iso movies and some folders as .vob files. Anyway i have the folder set as sharing, i see everyone in sharing, but if i add a new movie in folder, i have to go in and go into security tab and add everyone category since it doesnt come up when i add a new movie, therefore the shared folder does not show up on my Samsung tv, which is where i want to watch movie streaming. Thanks hope anyone can help.

Since you have a Homegroup set up it may help to use the Homegroup style share settings, go to your Video Library and perform the usual "Share With" > Specific People"> click on the drop down menu then choose "Everyone" from the list, hit share etc. This is a better approach compared to messing with the Security tab permissions.

This should allow the Samsung to access the entire Video Library. :)
