Remote Assistance and Run As Option

Currently, I have discovered the way to make Remote Assistance work, but there is one small problem. Whenever something is clicked on that requires the entry of admin credentials or I attempt to do a "Run as Administrator," My connection pauses, and I'm unable to enter my credentials. Here are some of my details:

Windows 7 Professional 64bit on both computers.
Only when specifically prompted for Administrator Credentials

    Welcome to the Seven Forums!

I don't believe that you are supposed to be able to use UAC prompts over Remote Assistance. If you just need to access your own computer remotely, Remote Desktop would probably be more suited to your needs. Alternatively, you could try setting the UAC to not dim the desktop when prompting for credentials.

Thank you for your reponse. At first, I thought the UAC settings would need to be changed on every computer here, but I tested it by just changing mine, then attempting to provide user support with RA. That worked! Thank you very much for your solution to this issue.
