Network Connection not enabled but set as default

I attach a screenshot from my Network Connections.
"Broadband Connection" seems to be the default but is not enabled.
It's an annoyance since I can't delete it.
The LAN is working fine through my Motorola Surfboard modem and the Broadcom Internet Card.

Incidentally, the rogue device doesn't appear in Device Manager.

Try updating the LAN driver, might work itself out with an updated driver.

Also check your system for any Malware, Spyware....could explain the rouge device.

    Thanks Bass.

I ran Spybot S&D and found 3 issues and the problem is resolved.
    Nice one!
