    Unable to remotely connect to my office computer after it was upgradin


    My computer at work was upgraded this week. I am now unable to use my remote Desktop Connection. I follow the same procedure I have always used but now get a window askihg for my credentials. I enter my user name and password but then get a window stating " Your Credentials did not work ". I am able to connect from other computers in my office.

    Welcome to Windows Seven forums!

    From your post I understand your home PC is window 7 x64. But what OS your office PC had and presently has?

    This upgradation is only hardware with same OS or both or only software?

    We need this information to attempt to give you an answer.

    As you are able to access your system from within your office, this could be a configuration issue with the firewall in your office and the group policy on your office server.

    Make sure that your user account is a member of the Remote Desktop Users Group.
