    All your drivers are here: Gateway Support - Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / NV Series / NV79

    Just download and install the ones you need, which will be under Wireless LAN. You want the Atherous driver.

    You can also click the Download Hardware Vendor Detection Utility at the top of the Gateway Support page for a breakdown of what hardware you have in your laptop.

    seavixen32, it's not the wireless driver he needs...it's the Ethernet one.

    Incidentally, there doesn't seem to be one listed on the Gateway page...hopefully that hardware detection utility gives some answers.

    It looks to me like you have not installed your Chipset Drivers.

    I think Gateway has the driver for the Gigabit LAN controller in the Chipset Drivers package. Have you installed this driver?

    Did you reinstall Windows on this laptop? Some background info might help.
