Ok when I tried this, it got to 79% and then it would quit. I tried it about 10 times to make sure that nothing changed, but it always stopped at 79% :/ FML

ok now I think I know what the problem is. When I disconnect from my network (gage), at the top it just says identifying... with no network after that. I've seen this before and it's called a "ghost network". If you know of any way to get rid of it, you'll get +rep

Someone else seems to be having a very similar problem (at least in dealing with networks). Are you dualbooting Ubuntu like he is? I don't have any wifi networks visible/available
