Laptop A sees laptop B on the Homegroup, Laptop B will not find A

I just bought 2 brand new laptops, both running Windows 7 Home Premium, both connected via a wireless router. Laptop A is an HP, Dads (mine). Laptop B is a Compaq, sons. Was having trouble getting either one to see each other on the homegroup network. Verified I have ipv6 enabled. Read to turn off firewalls. That seemed to work for mine, laptop A, but my sons, laptop B, still will not see mine. But I see his.

I have ran the troubleshooter on sons, laptop B, and it doesn't detect any problems. Is there anything else I should try? I have left the Homegroup and rejoined on both laptops. Thats when mine (laptop A) started seeing sons (laptop B). But doesn't work when I leave and rejoin on sons.

Why does it have to be so frustrating? Any help or info would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thank you. DadsComputer (Laptop A)

Seems to have fixed problem itself. Love when that happens.

sometimes after boot, it can take a short time for the homegroups to show, i have driven myself nuts with this in the past trying to get it to show,
now i patiently wait for it to show.
