is there a way to email a copy of a network connection?

    Hi there,

I'm setting up a vpn connection at home. I'd also like to create the client's connection and email to my frined, so he'd just download the attachment, enter user/pass and hit connect.
I've seen that done before. My coworker once emailed me a an instance of a vpn client. type: "Dial-up Phonebook" extension: .pbk
I'm trying to do the same, but I can't seem to make a copy of the connection and email it.

    Please advise,

    thanks!

    Hello,

Have a look at the following page:
Create new VPN / PPTP connection in Windows XP - AutoIt Forums

It has a script in here. a few people are saying it works but I havent used it. All you should need to do is edit the IP info and user info etc.

Copy and paste the script into Notepad and save the file with a .pbk extension.
