    Lost access to Linksys software


    The router is working as expected. I've been able to access the software until today. When I type the address, 192.168.1.1 the screen remains blank. I'm setting up an ad-hoc network. Having a small problem with password recognition by the iPad2. Sometimes it automatically finds and joins the network, othertimes it prompts me for a password then rejects it.

    My router is old as is the software. Not sure if I need a new one. Rather not spend anymore bucks since the iPad2 keeps dragging me into the iTunes store and spends money like it's going out of style.

    You may want to try resetting the router & see if it can be accessed then. If you can, you may want to check for any firmware updates.

    Doh! Reset it and got to the admin page. I'm in the process of upgrading the firmware. Sorry for the brain fart.
