Do these actions
If both steps above don't produce errors anymore and you did a reboot afterwards, test internet connection again. If it still doesn't work
- Check your systemdisk for errors and repair them Disk Check . Any errors? And is it fixed? Sometimes you have to run it multiple times to fix all problems
- Check your system files and repair them SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker . Were there any corrupt files? Was win7 able to fix them? Sometimes you have to run it multiple times to fix all problems
From Elevated Command Prompt
netsh winsock reset catalog (reset winsock entries)
netsh int ip reset c:\reset.log (reset TCP/IP stack)
Now reboot. Does it fix the problem?
You can check and delete c:\reset.log later.
