New computer will not connect to wireless router via WAN

Got a new Asus laptop. Tried to connect to wireless router, but I always get no network access and an unidentified network. Some data points:

    • I have a D-Link DIR-625. This could be the problem since it is from 2007, but technically it is compatible with W7.
    • All other devices (Windows XP laptops, smartphones, etc.) connect with no problem to the wireless router.
    • The LAN on the new laptop connects fine to the router when I plug it in. Only the wireless does not work.

I have read online forums for 4 hours trying to figure things out but haven't had luck. I think I've tried everything. I have attached the ipconfig /all below. Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide. I am getting desperate as I try solutions to no avail. Oh, and my computer does not have Bonjour installed, which apparently has caused this issue for others.

I should also note that since I live in a crowded area, there are several other Wifi networks around me. I tried connecting to a few labeled as "[Network]-Guest] and I was taken to a login splash screen. I assume this means that my laptop's wireless card is not the issue, but rather this wireless card's specific communication with my specific wireless router. Hope that helps in narrowing down the problem. Thanks.
