A Problem In Sharing Through A Homegroup

    Hi

I have started a homegroup on my PC but I can`t see anything on my laptop to join to . . .
Is there any thing I`m Missing ??

I`m Using an ADSL modem-router And I can ping both computers from each other.
also I`m Using nod32 as my antivirous-firewall and I even tried creating a homegroup when the firewall was disabled but it didn`t work !!!

    So ????

Maybe you should try going through this Homegroup trouble shooting guide first.

Thanx it was very useful yet the UNKNOWN problem still exists !!!!
It is a very simple procedure I don`t know what can be wrong !!!

I think it has to be the modem router that is involved here, But still they can ping each other and also I can see the other computer through network-computers . . .

    any IDEA ??

It sounds like the modem/router is having a problem to me.

You should try setting up the Homegroup from a wired connection on the laptop.
