    All downloads stopping and starting

Hi guys. So for a while now, my downloads have been randomly stopping, sometimes they resume and sometimes they don't. I noticed it when I was downloading an Nvidia driver. First time it stopped after about 5 seconds. Second time it stopped about 30 seconds in, right before it completed. Took me numerous attempts to download. Eventually I just left it and it resumed about 20 minutes later. I have contacted my ISP and there are no issues, I have fiber pro unlimited. I tried turning off my firewall. Eventually I formatted my SSD and done a clean install of Windows 7 as I had a few driver conflicts and playback issues. It sorted everything, except my downloads were still stopping. I am currently reinstalling battlefield 4 through Origin and it's stopped and started I don't know how many times. Any ideas what would be causing this and how I can get it resolved? Thanks

are you on wireless? or do you have a cable connection? a cable connection might resolve some big file downloading issues. But maybe it's just Origen dropping connection. did they just release a big game?
you can try to turn off ipv6 for your network controller. see if that improves downloading stability.

I am using a wired connection, always have. This problem never used to happen. It's not just Origin, it's everything. Steam, internet downloads, updates for programs, even windows update. I'll turn that off and see if it helps.

So I just turned of ipv6 and it's still the same. It doesn't always stop at the same percentage, it's just random. If I keep trying to download something, it will eventually complete with no interruptions. It is very very strange

OMG this worked!!! I can't believe it, I have been searching forums for months and trying so much stuff. Turns out the ethernet driver that I thought was up to date, was not! Got the correct one from my motherboard website. THank you!!!!
