    Zune Server Issues

So I get this error message:

Can't access the server. Make sure you're connected to the Internet and that there are no firewalls or proxy servers blocking access to the Zune service, then try again.

I've tried going to all the places I could figure, mainly the "services" areas that would show Zune being accessed. Could someone help me figure out other places that could keep me from accessing this server. I have internet, and can access web pages..I just can't login to my Zune account itself.

Check to make sure that your location setting for your Windows LIve ID matches the location setting for your computer. Can't login to my Zune Account

Are you getting any error messages?

Have you tried to sign-in from Zune.net ?
What I found was if you have anything associated with your Live ID account. All locations have to be the same.

This would include a Zune/Xbox account, do you have one?

Plus you need to keep it active. Has it been a while since you have tried to sign-in?

Thanks for the advice Anak. After trial and error, I figured out that it was an error on my half. When I was cutomizing my settings in the network/sharing area I had an option disabled. I just simply enabled it, logged onto the Zune application and it worked as it should. I'll try and find out where exactly it was at since I don't remember off hand. If anyone else has the same issues as me, look into your network and sharing options, but I do warn you..be careful with what you tinker with. You can disable internet, or other Windows options.

Your welcome Patrick, I'm glad you were able to sort that out!

I hope in some small way I was able to help.
