Cannot connect using remote desktop

I have three computers that I use as "servers" that connect to during the day. One of them work perfectly. No matter what, I am able to connect all the time without issue. For the second, I can connect most of the time. But sometimes it just hangs and I am unable to log in. The third one, which I am asking about in this thread, I just tried to connect the first time and have not yet been able to do so.

1. I enabled remote desktop under system/remote settings
2. I enabled remote desktop through my firewall. I created a new rule that enabled incoming connections to 3391.
3. I enabled remote desktop services via services.msc
4. I programmed my router to forward port 3391 to my computers IP address
5. I am using no-ip to give me a static address (i.e., xxx.serveftp.com:3391) to use with remote desktop.

But after all that, I am unable to get this to work. Any ideas on how to fix the problem? Thanks.

RDP uses port 3389.

I believe RDP can use any port you assign to it. I have been using 3390 on one of my computers with success (although some minor glitches).

jchi18, if you can connect to one of your servers why don't you just RDP from that server into the other two. If you don't know how just log in to the working server bring up a command prompt type in mstsc click ok then enter the name of one of the other servers you want to connect to. You will then authenticate to that server and you can do what needs to be done.

Stonewall is right the default port for RDP is 3389. Using other ports "may" cause some problems.
If you still have questions, what OS is your servers?

RDP can listen on any port, but your original post made no mention of configuring RDP to listen on a non-standard port.

You did set the registry key to make RDP listen on 3391, right?
