You do not have permissions to access \\User\g. Contact you network Ad

Hello to everyone I have an issue with accesing in one of my harddrives.
I have made a Lan connection between 2 Computers and I shared the hard drives, each one has full access permission. But when I am trying to go into one from the hard drives, the system doesnt allow me. For example on PC1 I made full access sharing on 10 drives, on 6 drives I get the message You do not have permissions to access \\User\g. Contact your network Administrator to request access.

...and on the other 4 drives I can access with no problem

how is that possible, i tried everything, this happens on the PC2, some from the drives are accessable, someone not.

Hi I'm Sanjay from Mettupalayam, India
Recently I have purchased a system in that I found this problem and I have solved by given solution traced by myself

Right Click the hard disk (in which your folder is set to sharing) go to properties click security find the list under the Groups or User names: the following list should be there
    1. Everyone
    2. Authenticated Users
    3. SYSTEM
    4. (system name) for eg. Sanjay (Sanjay-PC\Sanjay)
    5. Administrators (Sanjay-PC\Administrators)
    6. Users (Sanjay-PC\Users)

If any thing is missing from the above list please add by clicking on Edit button and then on Add , Advanced..., Find now, select from the below list.

    Thank you
    Regards
    Sanjay, India

Actually it's safer from a security stand point to do this from the Security tab of the C:>Users folder rather than the C: drive itself, per the directions in my tutorial.

Windows does this by default from the Users folder for good reason. Sharing the entire C: drive is a security risk and should only be done if total access is required. :)

Totally Helped me Sanjay! Saved me in minutes, after hours searching online for the problem.
Incidentally, after getting defaults set to Home Network with no HomeGroups, I only needed two names on each of my folder shares with read/write permission.
Mine as administrator was the only one there to start already, and I added Everyone and it works great.

    Thanks for sharing.
