After 2 months, suddenly, "limited connectivity issues"
Hello all,
First off, I am a nerd, my wife is a nerd, we have six computers in the house, running windows / linux, and who knows what, 2 tablets, 2 cell phones, ps3, wii, and a sony web tv.
Everything can connect to my router with no problem.
My 2 month old Sony Vaio, which I use primarily for mobile web development and graphic arts, was really a wonderful machine.
on 01/08/12, I purchased a wacom bamboo tablet, installed everything, and was having a great time sketching things on the computer tablet configuration, when after bout three hours of playing, suddently, I was dropped from wireless connectivity with no reason.
I checked with my wife, who was watching a netflix movie and happily computing on the other side of the couch, and she was connected. So I restarted my computer, everything came up fine, connected to the internet, and after about 60-90 seconds of normal internet happiness, I lost my connection again.
For the last 24 hours ish, this computer has been rebooted, restarted, the router has been restarted and unplugged, I have reset everything, uninstalled the tablet (It doesnt make sense to me how a usb drawing/mouse device may have any effect on my wireless, but hey... at the end of the rope)
And nothing works. Every other device connects just fine.
So, here I am, fellow nerds.
Anyone have any idea why in the heck my computer would run the internet over a wifi connection for only an apx 60 second run?
I need to conquer this, as I have some projects coming at me that I need the computer and abilities it has to work.
Thanks in advance, and if anyone needs any screenshots of anything, I will attempt to answer as promptly as possible.
(and windows network troubleshooting tells me everything is fine, figure that out)
