XP machine won't connect to 7 machines anymore

I have an XP machine that has been on my network with my two 7 machines for a while, but now it isn't playing nice anymore. It gets a DHCP address fine and can connect to the internet, but it cannot see the 7 machines and they can't see it.

The XP machine can ping the 7 machine by name, but not IP

The 7 machine can ping the XP machine however it wants (name and IP).

The XP machine can ping itself fine.

    Any ides what went haywire?

    THanks

    1. WorkGroup Name
    2. Settings on the Windows 7 PC's change after update
    3. Manual set Ip address and DNS on XP.

Of course you have rebooted the PC's and router, right?

Are you running homegroup, or workgroup?

Have you changed anything just before the problem?

I've tried rebooting everything, and I am running workgroup on the sevens.

I tried a manual IP on the XP machine (no better), and made sure all have the same workgroup names. Nothing better.

I cannot figure out what might have changed between when it was working and now, it is really odd and I have tried TONS of stuff to try to make it work....

Well I managed to get things working again. The key was to disable IPV6 on the 7 machines, and then everyone played nice!
