please help, wifi is sporadic but in a pattern

Tis has been driving me nuts and nearly ruining my school work (i take 2 online college courses, as well as 1 on campus).

My wifi is being extremely sporadic but its also forming a pattern of cutting in and out, but i dont think its staying "out" for long enough for my laptop to see it as such. I seriously can not even watch any youtube video without it buffering every second (this is at 240p). My speed is slow (180kbps) but still not slow enough to warrent my wifi craziness. Can anyone help me, this is so frustrating, and I've had a ton of GREAT help from these forums

(attached picture is of a chart showing the download (on the top) and upload (on the bottom) while watching a random 240p youtube video)

    you can see the pattern.

I've tried changing the wireless channels, a tcp optimizer (went back to the default backup). I also run peerblock to block any ip's that may be trying to access my computer, AND I have net limiter, and the only thing running is my web browser.

please guys i'm counting on you

    thanks,

    Evan

here it is, I blocked my default gateway

    thanks man

my top speed is 180kbps (again, i know its slow, but it isn't just being bogged down by the site, it is completely cutting out, and sometimes wont even get over 50kbps, and it doesnt matter if the other computer on the network is on or off)

You do realize you gave us Ethernet and cut off the wifi connection right?

i just checked and rechecked, and thats all that it gives me, the words that are cut off at the top are "windows ip configuration. There is absolutely nothing else that shows up in ipconfig /all

    well...

I have an internal wifi card. BUT! I've been really busy with school (not to mention my internet going crazy) so I haven't even thought about getting on here (trust me, learning arabic is a really a giant b). But late last night my internet was dropping every minute or so, so I went in and disabled the bridge, and the first four options in its configuration (iirc arp, flow control, and the other 2). and viola! it hasn't dropped since.

I did have to re-enable the bridge to connect it to an xbox360, but I havent gotten any drops yet, so lets all cross our fingers.

I'm thinking that there was a conflict between the bridge looking for an unconnected local port (the xbox) and the wireless.

btw. I also changed my wireless interval from 25 to 1000. I was running netlimiter at the time and loading movies and it appeared that when I raised the interval it allowed more traffic through.

I literally spent 2am-4am on this last night, so if anyone else has this problem, you can redirect them to this post but I'm not sure I'm remembering EVERYTHING

    thanks for the help
