No wireless signal for Linksys WRT54G

I've had this router for quite a while, the settings settings that are saved on it have been saved for quite a while, me connection settings have not changed at all.

When I had XP, I could always type in "192.168.1.1" into my browsers address bar and access the settings. I still have my password written down also, but heres my problem.

When I type this into my browser, it just Google searches it. I've tried IE7, Chrome, and Opera. Same result with every browser.

The reason I need to get in, is because my wireless just randomly stopped working one day. It isn't transmitting a signal, and the yellow "Cisco Systems" LED on the router itself is no longer lit.

Has anyone else had this or a similar problem? Is there a fix for it, and if you need more details about my situation I can provide them promptly, just let me know. I'd really like to get back on my gaming consoles- the wireless signal is my only way to connect to the Internet through my consoles.

    Hi.

To have access and control the router first you have to be connected with wire not wireless.

Then,go to...Start\Control Panel\Network and Sharing Center, click on the little house and enter, right click on the router icon and click View device webpage, there you can enable and configure Network\Wireless.

Note: if you have installed any firewall software, you may need to disable it before following the above step.

    Finish and post back.

I have the Cat 5 wires hooked up, running to my PC and my gaming consoles for the time being, thats how I'm posting now.

Anyways, I followed your instructions. When I click the house it brings my to my network, whereby only my the other PC's in my network are listed, and a single media device. No router. So what now?

Router worked fine before, with Win 7, one I woke up and that LED was no longer blinking, and no more wireless.
