    Network-repair idiot-icon sought

One of our family laptops irregularly loses its WiFi connection. The connection is easily repaired following the standard Windows 7 path. I would like to leave an icon on the desktop that will launch whatever utility it is that effects this repair, along with whatever options it needs to do this, in one go. Whether it's a GUI-type launch or via the cmd terminal is irrelevant.

Can anyone suggest what .exe/.msc to look for and what options there are (or where to find them) so that I can write a little batch file, please?

The utility is located here: C:\Windows\diagnostics\system\Networking\DiagPackage.diagpkg

With reference to https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...r-program.html, create a shortcut (the above location is what you enter in OPTION FOUR Step 2).

Note that there are no command switches for this utility.

Thanks a lot, Mr Dwarf. The link is now on t'Wife's laptop, embellished with a 'Sharing Centre' (sorry, 'Center') icon.
