The speed and efficiency of my internet browsing just arent the same... Its slower and pages wont show half the pictures they are supposed to... Like on fb I cant see half the peoples pictures.
Actually ive only noticed the picture thing with fb... Let me check.
Yes just facebook seems to do it..
So now that you are able to surf the net to some degree download Malwarebytes and Superantispyware and perform a scan. Just so we can rule out any kind of virus or malware.
Ok... I installed and scanned with microsoft security essentials.. And it didnt show anything. But I will do those too.
Wow! It detected 3 threats from utorrent.com... I liked that site too. I guess I cant download music anymore!
It deleted them and rebooted my pc... And now I cant access the internet at all. It is giving me this on google chrome: Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED) : Unable to resolve the servers DNS address.
Ok after a little research it seems your uTorrent is the culprit. I'd use another software. As for the fix of dns. You'll need to go back to your dns settings and reset them as it was most likely affected by the removal of the utorrent. I would use CCleaner and remove any remnants of utorrent and find an alternative software. It seems the way utorrent operates really taxes the DNS servers you're going through.
If the alternative software gives you dns issues try manually setting the dns addresses in both your pc and the router and the modem if you can access the modem.
Opendns should work fine. 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
