problems with multiple copies of wireless networks

My computer seems to re-recognize my wireless network each time I connect and it is making multiple copies of the same network visible in on my computer

here's a partial screenshot of what I'm talking about

I am having the same problem. Recently, my network started dropping out intermittently, for no apparent reason. And just now, multiple copies of my network appear - see image. I am using a D-Link DIR-655 wireless router and am running Windows 7 Home x64. I have my router set to not broadcast the name. Any help is appreciated.

Just solved my problem. I reset my router (pressed the reset pin on the back), then set up the router. After that, I went into the Network & Sharing control panel and clicked "Manage Wireless Networks". I then right clicked on each of the "duplicated" networks and selected "Remove network" from the pop-up menu. This eliminated all the extra copies of my network that appeared in the network connection pop-up. NOTE: Resetting the router may not have been necessary, but considering the drop-out issues I was having, I thought it couldn't hurt.
