    Replay from IP(192.168.1.2) When pinging Gateway(192.168.1.1)


    Hello,

    IP configuration is static, Gateway is 192.168.1.1 trying to ping it and get Replay from IP(192.168.1.2) and after some line nearly 6-7 lines getting replay from 10.0.0.39 few lines than "Request timed out" and so on and so on...
    I thought it was a problem of modem, i've reseted it and nothing. I can connect to the Internet from another PC.

    Can you please post the ip configuration information on your machine.

    IP
    Netmask
    Gateway

    Also, same for the default gateway.

    It's for PC,

    IP address: 192.168.1.2
    SubnetM: 255.255.255.0
    Dgateway: 192.168.1.1

    Pre DNS: 87.253.32.130
    Alt DNS: 87.253.32.131

This is kind of a basic question, but I never noticed this until now. You can ping Google and get an address resolution of 173.194.115.113 every time and you can ping google.com (without the w's) and get 74.125.225.65 every time. So how is it that the use or lack of w's produce different addresses?
