Win 7 to Win XP Remote Connection

I am using Win 7 and my kids are running Win XP and they live across town. Can I setup Remote Connection between these? Is there written instructions that I can get?

    Thanks

You need the Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate versions of Win7 to get remote desktop server support. Windows 7 Starter, Home and Home Premium can connect to other computers via remote desktop but can't be connected to via remote desktop.

Okay, I have Home Premium. Do I understand that I could connect any machine but Home Premuim, can't be the "server"?

Yes, all editions of Windows 7 can connect to remote desktop services provided by other computers, but only the only editions of Win 7 that can act as servers are Pro, Ultimate and Enterprise.

Jack, here's a much better alternative. Try the free version of Teamviewer. You can install it on each PC and connect to the kids PC like you were sitting in front of it. It's an awesome program.
