How to disable internet access from the OS itself ?
Hello I have been looking for the answer to my question for quite some time but Im unable to get any result so I would like to ask the gurus here in this fine forum for any hint or clue.
My question is simple, I want to disable internet access in a Windows 7 Home Premium x64bit administrator account (having admin rights of course), but directly from the OS itselft and without having to resort to third party programs or even Win 7 default Firewall.
At first I thought this would be easy but Im still completely lost, I have tried searching for possible solutions like blocking port 80 from the hosts file, or disabling tcpip from the registry but no luck.
This is just an experiment Im doing and since I dont have much idea about networking or Windows OS any hint or clue would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
