VPN Issue - works with xp not win7

I replaced an XP laptop with a Win7 machine. When I VPN into our 10 network I can't get to any 192.168.5 addresses. The XP machine works fine and I have used it this way for 6 years, only the Win7 doesn't. I looked at a lot of settings but I can't find anything out of sorts. Any clues?
My ipconfig ip is whatever my local router is ex 192.168.1.x and my local connection 2 is a 10 network address.

    please post output of IPCONFIG
please post output of ROUTE -4 PRINT
perform those commands in a "command prompt" when connected to vpn server

your 192.168.1.x network can be accessed if vpn connection is closed? 192.168.1.x is your network at home I assume?
