Before we can help you'll do best to fill your system spec in.

There are a few chipsets that have a memory leak and that can cause problems.

I'm sure someone else on here will have a more indepth answer for you.

For instance, at the moment i'm running a crappy Asrock board till ma P5Q comes back and my ram usage on the Asrock is almost 3 out of 4 gigs all the time, where as the P5Q only ever runs 1 gig max at idle.

This has also caused BSOD's, freezeing and failed downloads due to the data not being able to be written in the system memory.

    Hope this helps..

Ps. I've actually given in and used a ram optimizer for the moment and it's working like a charm. However when the P5Q cpomes back i'll never touch a ram optimizer again..

Sounds like you're infected. I cannot imaging any svchost process using 70% of four gigs of RAM. I think that may be an infection disguising itself as svchost.

Try running Malwarebytes. Just download & install it. When it finishes, download the latest updates and run a full scan.

thnx guys and here my spec :
    Msi p35 Platinum Combo
    Core2quad q6600 @ 2.4
    4 gb (3sticks 2x1 and one 2gb )
    Radeon 4890 1gb
the ram leak problem seems to be gone !!!(about 1-1.5gb used depending on activity ) anyway the youtube and the download problem only appears
after using the windows for some time , i mean when i start my pc everything is normal but after some activity i get it , also i think its related
to my connections cuz we have 2 wireless networks and when changing btwn them i start having the issue !!
