One laptop can connect to wireless and the other cannot

    Hi,

My sister was able to connect to the wireless connection at home and no issues, however recently moved into student accommadation with a existing router and isp running.
She can view the wireless network however it will not let her to connect.
I was able to sucessfully connect to her new wireless network with no issues what so ever.

Changed the encryption to WPA TPIK to match the same enryption I used when connecting to her new network and still would not connect.

Figured it must be something to do with her laptop so we did a clean install from Vista to Windows 7 and we still have the same problem with her connecting to the wireless network.

Have searched for hours and Im not computer savy, so if some one can provide some assistance, I would be delighted and if you dont mind explaining the steps to be taken.

    Thank You so much,

    Hi,

Tried the troubleshooting from the page could not be displayed and it did not help to identify anything. Would troubleshooting from the control panel do anything different. Thanks for your help.

If possible, connect laptop to router with a cable then log in to the router to see if it has MAC address filtering.
