    Windows 7 Internet Sharing Dial-up


    I want to share my dial-up internet connection. OS Windows ultimate 64 Bit, my service provider has installed a switch in which the main line is connected. From that switch the line to my PC is been given and a dial-up connection is setup on my PC.

    Now i want to share this connection with other computers at my Place.

    Help needed.......!!!!!

    Not Wireless


    It is not a wireless connection, its cable. I tried it in the start, it worked for some time but then windows started giving me error saying Windows IP conflict (something like that).

    Did you note the last paragraph:

    ICS and ad hoc networks


    If you share your Internet connection on an ad hoc network, ICS will be disabled if:
    • You disconnect from the ad hoc network.
    • You create a new ad hoc network without disconnecting from the ad hoc network for which you enabled ICS.
    • You log off and then log back on (without disconnecting from the ad hoc network).
