    hello once again
i am using a wired broadband connection i have 2 problems with it
one problem is speed i have subscribed for 1mbps plan but i get download speed only upto 120kbps i saw the speed in the network monitor the speed am getting shows 1 or more than 1 mbps but in the usage section it maximum goes only upto 10% so is there anything that can be done
well the other problem is we get too much power cuts here and as my internet connection is a fixed wired connection everytime the power goes and come it gets reseted and ask for my user id and password so all i wanna know is there any way to make it happen automatically because i keep my downloading processes started even if i am not near my laptop

Use speedtest.net to test your speeds. What is asking you for a username and password ?
    Your modem ?

With Verizon I`m getting 27.52 Mbps

Just because you have a 1mbps internet does not mean you will get true 1mb speeds from all sites.

Most sites have download speed limits. And a lot of them don't allow more than 350kbps
