    Folder Sharing

OK, so i still haven't quite got my head around file sharing/ACL/Permissions between W7 & XP....it's been a long week :)
For the sake of arguement, lets say i want to share my music folder.
The music folder is stored on my Vista partition (C) and i want to use W7 (i have ownership of the folder in W7) (A) to share to a XP computer on my home network (trusted). What entries to the ACL do i need for the XP user (admin) to be able to access the file? (hopefully avoiding the everyone group)
Also, in general which entries should be in the ACL? Some folders i have up to 5 different users/groups and on others i only have my account and the admin group. What's the standard?
Thanks in advance for your help :)

The XP user does not need to be in the ACL, because when accessing the shared folder you can just enter the username and password of an account that already exists on the Windows 7 computer.

Ah, sup3rsprt's back to help me again with my epic networking fails
OK, that's cool, no need to worry about XP then. What about all the other 'User' folders i have with random numbers of entries in the ACL?

if you enable password protected sharing, you should be required to enter a username and password to access the shared folders. If password protected sharing is off, then anyone can access folders that are shared with Everyone (where the "Everyone" group exists both in file sharing permissions AND in the ACL)

You are very welcome. If you have any more questions just let me know. I've done a lot of experimenting with each of the sharing options lately. I've got most of it figured out by now
