Annoying LAN problem Windows 7
Hi
Im from Poland and i couldn't find any answers in my language on our forums, thats because i'm writing here and trying to describe my problem.
I use 2 PC's in a home network over a router. One of them (call him XP) has Windows XP PRO SP3 on it, and the other one (call him WIN7) has Windows 7 RC 7201. The XP can see my computer on the network, and access him, and all shared folders and files. The WIN7 can do nothing, it can only ping the other one. WIN7 can not acces himself when i get into My Komputer and then network. He can see himsel, but when i click on him i get an error message (i try to translate):
"\\WIN7 is not accessible, you will may have no premissions to use it.Contact your network administrator to get the premissions.
Given network provider is incorrect"
If i try to acces WIN7 from WIN7 over my IP trough start>run>\\ip i get the same message. I can also access XP from WIN7 with the same method.
The only way to access XP from my WIN7 is to run XP mode on it(virtual Machine), and then sudeenly from XP MODE i can access both of the computers XP and WIN7. I've tried many things, and spend several hurs to get it running but i have no ideas more...
Has anyone ideas how to get it work?
and sorry for my English, i hope you understand what i wanted to write :)
thanks for any help
