internet connects without setup or wep

    internet connects without setup or wep


    just got a new reberbished computer running windows 7 professional x64 turned it on and it connects to internet straight away didnt have to set up or anything?
    basicly just worried that its connected to my internet and didnt ask me for a wep key? tried to make a new connection but it didnt pick anything up so tried deleting the current connection and it wouldnt let me. my bt hub is normally called bthub-33ob but this connection connects to a hub 15?
    prob seems like an easy answer for some of you but this is my first go on windows 7 any how wouldnt go a miss

    Looks to me like there is no functioning password on your router. You should anyhow set a WPA2 password. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9002706/Tutorial_How_to_set_up_WPA2_on_your_wireless_network_

    What happens if you try connecting it on Ethernet? Is that automatic too.
