I already tried to connect modem to another laptop but unfortunately results were the same: unidentified network and so on...

There's something going on with your connection then, I'd suggest for you to contact your ISP and see what they have to say.

    Try disabling IPV6:
    1. Go to the Control Panel and select Network & Sharing center.
    2. Click manage network connections and disable your dial up/broadband if you use wireless. Disable wireless if you use dial up/broadband.
    3. Right click your network connection and then left click properties.
    4. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
    5. Click OK and exit.

the problem might be here (from teksavvy site):
"Can I use my own modem?
Yes, you can use your own modem. The modem must support G.DMT and must be PPPoE configurable. Telus modems will not work." - What I have is Netopia 3341 and I have no idea if it supports it.
