Windows 7 and XP workgroup no longer working

Hi I set up a workgroup between my XP pc and 7 laptop. Everything was working fine. Today however, when trying to access files on the 7 from the XP I get this error message: "\\S_lipmanpc is not accessible. You might not have permission to access this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found."

I have not changed any settings and have checked that the 7 is still set to share everything, but I'm at a loss.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

The first thing I do when networking issues like this pop up is to restart both systems + router and see if they resolve it on their own.
If not next step is usually to destroy then recreate the group.

ok I'll try that. How do I destroy the group if the restart doesn't work?

^ You just delete the workgroup on the XP computer and create a new one. A quick search on Google offers plenty of tutorials like this one here:
How to Remove a Workgroup in XP | eHow.com

Also, you may want to create work groups that are Windows Logon based, in which case it only ask you to enter the login details of Windows on the computer you are trying to access.

    Edit: Nvmd, too late. :)
