Internet acting strange - can't port forward - no ipv6 internet access

Hey guys I have a really frustrating problem right now and I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Very recently, my forwarded ports stayed closed (even though I've definitely opened them from the router page) and configuring a static ip gets really random. I'm using a Belkin wireless USB adapter right now, instead of the ethernet cable I was using a few weeks ago, but I don't think this is the problem.

    Thanks guys

IPv6 isn't used for accessing the internet, it's only used internally for the time being. :)

The port forwarding problem could be your A/V software, a third party firewall or even Windows firewall.

If you are having problems with the wireless connection why not go back to the wired connection instead.

Thanks for clearing up the ipv6 problem lol, it looks like there was no connectivity there even when I switched back to the wired. As for the port forwarding, I don't think it's the anti-virus/firewall cause I tried with both of them down (well, I don't usually have an anti-virus on anyways.) And the reason I use wireless instead of wired is because I plug the wired thing into my xbox because my router is crap and stops sending the wireless single for like a split second every 5-10 minutes, which is enough to lag me out of the game.
