The other thing you could look at is the ethernet jack itself. Look in the jack and make sure the four contacts are uniformly and evenly positioned to make proper contact with the plug.
It's asking me for a username and password? spa user?
spa user?
So it's setup properly (securely)?
What brand/model number?
It appears that router's password is only provided by your ISP (according to the manual).
Seems there is no default password for it (unlike most routers), it is assigned by the ISP with a username of "User". Did the router come from the ISP?
Try typing 192.168.254.1/advanced into the address bar.
It's provided by my voip service. I think I might try to get an ethernet adaptor. I looked at my port with a flashlight and the last few grooves are bent.
Look in the port of the other computer to compare. You might be able to straighten the pins out by bending a paperclip into a hoop shape and lightly tug on the pins to get them into a connectable state.
It was my ethernet port. I got an adapter, and I'm now connected. Thanks to all who helped me out.
