    Website blocked - IP&Domain

I'll try to be as straight forward as possible:

404 when visiting website in windows 7

    Hosts file looks fine -

    Code:
    # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
    #
    # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
    #
    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
    # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
    # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
    # space.
    #
    # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
    # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
    #
    # For example:
    #
    # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
    # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

    # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
    #	127.0.0.1 localhost
    #	::1             localhost
    Windows XP Virtual Machine -

NAT Mode the website does not work
Setting up the adapter to connect with a seperate connection and the website works fine.

Firewall - Avast AV disabled, still no luck.

    Anybody got any ideas

I did find this - https://www.sevenforums.com/network-i...s-website.html seems somebody else has had a similar issue before...

    Wonder if he solved it

Yes, I disabled the firewall to test.

Seems I accidently left a key part of information out of my post heh.

My internet connection is working fine apart from the one website -

I am using the OS currently to make this post, I can use a multitude of internet applications on it. Just one single website that won't work.

I PM'd you the website url.

    -edit

Just a random image to maybe help :)

    Hi Sam86,

I was going to ask what was the url that you couldn't access, but you gave sufficient information in your image.

    Here is what I get:
    Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
    C:\Users\Dwarf>ping ninjavideo.net
Pinging ninjavideo.net [93.174.93.198] with 32 bytes of data:

    Ping statistics for 93.174.93.198:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

    Minimum = 25ms, Maximum = 26ms, Average = 25ms

Using Windows Firewall and Avast! at default settings. Check your Security settings in Internet Options to make sure that this site isn't blocked, and also check the settings in your router to make sure that it isn't blocked there either or as well.

I always do that with edited images lol ...

    Anyways.

    Router:

Post says it works in windows XP VM like said above.
Firewall & AV are off like said above.
Not blocked in internet options, tried in 3 browsers...

The like said above wasn't meaning to sound arrogant ;/. Sigh, I'm stumped as to what is causing this ...

Not only did I remove my AV to test properly, i also made sure the services where disabled.

    Anyways - Solved, thanks.

    Hi Sam,

Is this the free version of MBAM, or are you using the registered version?

This is what I get with the unregistered version:

    Hi Sam,

I've PM'd one of our Security Gurus, Jacee, with this to see if she can shed some light on it.

    Paid Version

Asked them about it, they confirmed and link these

[INFO] IP Protection - Malwarebytes Forum
    http://hosts-file.net/?s=93.174.93.198

Seems that ip range is blocked by there software, so I shall remove ip protection, kinda voids the whole point of having paid for it. But whatever, it's still a good freeware program.
