Homegroup/printing problem with a wirelessly connected computer

Please forgive my ignorance - I am as far removed from a computer expert as one can be.

My wife and I both have Windows 7, and we are both connected to a Homegroup.
A printer is connected to our router via a cable. My computer is also connected to the router via a cable. My wife's computer is connected to the Homegroup wirelessly.

I can print with no issue. My wife, however, can only print when my computer is on. As she prints much more than I do, is there any way of configuring her system to print without my computer being turned on each time? It would be impossible to connect her system to the router via a cable without swapping workstations, which she doesn't want to do.

Did you install the drivers for the printer on her machine yet?

I popped the printer's installation and drivers disc into her computer when I first set it up. I assume that the drivers are all on board, but will try again.

Chev, with considerable embarrassment I admit that you have solved the problem! For whatever reason, the drivers were not installed on her machine. Perhaps my memory is failing in my old age. Anyways, we are now working beautifully. Many thanks for your time.
