Problem with wiresless network & internet crashing.

    Hello.
I recently got an 24mbit connection. After that my internet has been failing like hell. Ive contacted my ISP and they did some changes. Didn't help then I rented a new modem to try if it helps. Even worse (Its TP Link, previous was TeleWell)
So anyways. I was away for a week and my parents told the internet was fine when my desktop was offline. (They use a laptop at the kitchen) So, I was thinking is it this desktop which causes the internet to fail? I changed the cable twice, didn't help. The modem is like 2-3meters away from me. Also it has 2 antennas. Also, I can't seem to connect to it wirelessly. It just can't find the modem. When I go to "Manage wireless networks" (Im finnish so I just tried to translate it to english. It's some "Hallitse langattomia verkkoja" in finnish. Anyways it says "Wireless network is not enabled" aka is disabled or something like that. How do I enable it? I tried to google but didn't work.

OS Is windows 7 home premium sp1.

Thanks. Hope you had fun read it all.

Have you checked in Device Manager to see whether you need a driver for your wireless adapter?

Have you enabled the wireless adapter in the Network & Sharing Center?

Have you turned on Network Discovery?

Are you able to connect to your router with an ethernet cable?

Danko, go to this Web site on your computer: http://www8.hp.com/fi/fi/support-drivers.html Download the network drivers. Place them on the USB drive. Transfer and install them onto your computer. Try it.

Trying my luck on Bing translator (no offense meant; i don't often have a chance to see how well it works):
Danko, siirry tämän tietokoneen Web-sivustossa: HP Tuki ja ajurit | Suomi
Imuroi verkko-kohteet. Sijoita niitä USB-laitetta. Siirtää ja asentaa tietokoneeseen. Kokeile tätä.

    *Edit- was beat to it

Have you established that your computer has a wireless adapter?

If so, check this Microsoft article.

    Setting up a wireless network

    And this one.

    This may help too.

You have a modem, which gives you an internet service.

Do you have a wireless router? If not, you need one to create your wireless network.

You can also buy a combined router and modem. Did your ISP provide you with one?

Well, I did something and now the wireless seems to work. But do you any of you got any idea why this (my current desktop which I'm typing on) crashes the internet. Like, when this is offline and laptop is on the connection never brakes. But when this is on it like every 10-15 minutes crashes once. I had before a 5/1 mbps (5 dl, 1 up) connection, never crashed. Now I have 24/1, always crashes. Why? Got any idea?
