I was wondering if this could be a cause of the interment getting kicked from the net (Router loosing DNS)

do you have the DHCP Client service running? (check services.msc)

and turn off IPv6, unless you really need it.

Did you set up a static IP for the computer? If so, switch back to Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.

Yes set up a static IP for the computer
I have switched it back DHCP working now thanks

The reason why I set up a static IP address is because it changes its self So my virtual servers need to changed all the time to keep up with the changes I will try it again for while and see what happens

Some routers allow you to permanently assign an IP address to a MAC address. In my DIR-655, it's under the DHCP reservation list. See if your router has that functionality.

That's not a DHCP reservation list, as far as I can tell. What's the model number of your router?

Look in the manual on pages 22 and 23 - it discusses the DHCP table. Find the section about the permanent table - it's talking about MAC mapping, which is the same thing as DHCP reservation. Somewhere in your router's config pages you should be able to assign an IP to a MAC address.
